Feed Your Baby 2017 – St. Louis Baby Photography

Feed Your Baby was born two years ago after noticing a new trend in photography sessions where groups of moms would come together to breastfeed their babies.  I found them to be absolutely stunning, and a great showing of community.  But as a mom who supplements nursing with donated breast milk and formula I felt sad for all the moms who were being left out.  After all, we are all filling a special and vital role for our children.  And with that, Feed Your Baby was born. 

Collaborating again with Crystal Kosednar and Kara Headrick, this years Feed Your Baby event was held at Tower Grove Park.  We were blessed for the second year in a row with beautiful weather and we had a great time! 

This year I was excited not only to be a photographer for the event, but also to bring my youngest son along to have our journey captured.  Due to low supply I both nurse and bottle feed my son.  Being able to capture both connections was so important and Crystal did an amazing job.
