This session with a sweet little girl and her big sister was so much fun! It’s pretty common to want some pictures of Baby with any older siblings and specializing as a Newborn and Family Photographer I am happy to accommodate. How “in to ” the session the older children are varies quite a bit though. I always look forward to these sessions but you never really know what you are going to get from Big Brother or Sister.
Fortunately, in this case, Big Sister was very sweet and loving. We were able to get far more with her than usual. As a bonus, Baby was very cooperative and even gave us some great smiles!
Planning Meetings with Mom and Dad allow me to personalize each session and tailor it to the needs and desires of each family I work with. In this case, Mom wanted sparkles and “something different.” We went through the different outfits and pops at my St. Louis Studio and came up with a few things that met her style and led to some super adorable and unique pictures!
It’s easy to focus most of your attention on the session itself, but I like to make the process of selecting final images and heirloom pieces just as memorable. I put a lot of care into helping my families through this process to make sure they end up with art and keepsakes they can cherish.
In the end, they picked a Framed 20×30 Print, a Custom Folio Box, and an Acrylic Block as well as adding a Wooden Round to match the one Big Sister has.
